Managing Questions

You can add or edit Questions for your Assessments and Surveys.

You should set up Categories for your Questions before creating the Questions. See Categories for instructions.

On the ControlPanel:

  1. Click   on the Assessments/Surveys menu to expand it.
  2. Click Questions.

Click this to view and edit Question properties.

Click this to edit the Question.

All existing Questions are displayed on this page. You can narrow the list of displayed Questions by using the filters located in the Filters section. See the following sections for instructions on using the Filters section:

Filtering Questions by Name

You can narrow the list of displayed Questions by filtering by name or description.

  1. Type a portion of the Question name or description in the Name/Prompt contains field.
  2. Click Search.

Filtering Questions by Category

You can narrow the list of displayed Questions by filtering by category. On the Questions page:

  1. Click Select Category.
  2. Click the option button next to the Category associated with the Question you are searching for and click Return Selected.
  3. Click Search.

Filtering Questions by Question Type

You can narrow the list of displayed Questions by filtering by Question type. On the Questions page:

  1. Select a Question Type from the drop-down list.
  2. Click Search.

Filtering Questions by Catalog

You can narrow the list of displayed Questions by filtering by catalog. On the Questions page:

  1. Select aCatalog from the drop-down list.

The Catalog drop-down list displays if global sharing is enabled. See Global Sharing for additional information.

  1. Click Search.

Filtering Questions by Status

You can narrow the list of displayed Questions by filtering by status.

  1. Select aStatus from the drop-down list.
  2. Click Search.
